ALI MOVING

About us

Founded in 2011 by  Ali Amiri, CEO & Founder, Ali moving is currently one of Vancouver’s premier moving companies. The family-run business was owned and run by Ali Amiri for ten years. Alongside Ali, the company was managed by his wife,  Leila Amiri, who is also the sales and marketing manager, offering an array of moving and storage services for both private and corporate clients.

In July 2021, our family received the devastating news that Ali was diagnosed with Stage III Pancreatic Cancer. His ability to be out and about, make connections and be on site of his moves came to a quick halt. Ali truly fought his toughest battle, whilst still trying to run his business from his phone and keeping a smile on his face most days. Our lovely Ali gained his purple wings 11 months later on June 28, 2022, at 52 years old. He leaves behind his wife, five children, and was 3 months shy of becoming a grandfather.Anyone who knew Ali, knew he was a gem and a pillar in the Iranian and Kurdish community. We want to continue our fight against Pancreatic Cancer by donating 1% of every move we complete to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. We hope to send an annual donation and will be sharing this rewarding journey on our website and Instagram: @alimovingco.

We know that moving isn’t just about possessions – it’s about people. Since 2011, Ali dedicated himself to providing relocation services built on trust and integrity. He was committed to making your move as smooth and stress-free as possible. He built a community of friends around him with every move he completed. We want to continue his legacy of kindness and warmth to others, which contributed so much to his success.

When you choose Ali moving, you are doing more than just supporting a small business, you help us get one step closer to a cure for Pancreatic Cancer. Our wish is for a future where nobody endures the pain that our family went through, and to save other amazing people from an untimely departure.
